Thief in Elvis wig and a mask robs Central Coast wine tasting room
Police are looking for a man who wore an Elvis Presley wig and a mask to rob a wine tasting room along the San Luis Obispo County coast.
The alleged thief was disguised with a mask resembling an old man’s face when he entered the Monarch Grove Winery Tasting room in Grover Beach, according to the San Luis Obispo Tribune.
Armed with a handgun, the man forced two employees into a bathroom and took $400 in cash before fleeing, Grover Beach police said.
Officers searched the area, but couldn’t find him.
The robber was described as white, 5-feet-8, 30 to 40 years old and about 140 pounds. He wore tan cargo pants, blue latex gloves and a blue shirt with buttons and nylon sleeves.
