Mentally disabled pregnant teen is missing, Glendale police say
A Glendale teen described by police as mentally disabled and 7½ months pregnant is missing after disappearing Friday while spending time with her younger sisters.
Joyce Lubrin, 16, was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue hooded sweat shirt and gray jacket.
She is 4 feet 11, 120 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Police describe her as a chronic runaway.
Joyce and her two sisters were reported missing on Friday and none of the them had money or cellphones, police told Times Community News. Joyce’s two sisters were found over the weekend.
During the some 30 hours that the three girls were missing, they reportedly hung out at a mall until eventually going to a friend’s home, police said.
The younger sisters were found after their friend’s mother saw a TV news report on the girls’ disappearance and called police.
Anyone with information about Joyce Lubrin’s whereabouts should call Glendale police at (818) 548-4911.
