Inland Empire teacher accused of having sex with underage girl
An Inland Empire substitute teacher was under arrest Thursday on suspicion of having sexual contact with an underage girl, authorities said.
Jason Stubbs, 27, of Eastvale, was arrested and booked Wednesday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators learned on Monday that Stubbs had had sexual contact with an underage girl while working as a substitute teacher in the Jurupa Unified School District, officials said.
He was located Thursday working at a school in the Fontana Unified School District in San Bernardino County and was arrested.
He was charged with three felony counts of sex crimes involving a minor. Stubbs allegedly used social media to meet minors, and investigators say there may be additional victims.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s Jurupa Valley Station at (951) 955-2600.
