Drive-by shooting at South L.A. party leaves 1 dead, 3 wounded
A party in South L.A. turned deadly early Monday when one person was killed and three were wounded during a drive-by shooting.
The shooting broke out about 12:30 a.m. outside a warehouse in the 13100 block of Broadway in Willowbrook, when a car drove by and a shooter sprayed people outside the party with bullets, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
One man was killed, another was critically wounded and two others were listed in stable condition following the attack, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Investigators said the car was reportedly driving erratically leading up to the incident. It was described as a light-colored four-door sedan last seen driving northbound on Broadway.
