Brush fire damages San Bernardino motel
A brush fire along the 10 Freeway in San Bernardino spread Thursday night to a large motel, authorities said.
The fire broke out Thursday near Hospitality Lane and Commercenter Drive, east of the interchange of the 210 and 10 freeways, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Flames tore through brush and trees near the freeway and burned parts of two buildings belonging to the Super 8 Motel, fire officials said. An adjacent hotel was also threatened by the blaze.
Aerial footage of the fire on KCAL-TV Channel 9 showed two vehicles burning.
