Reader photo: Summer’s fading light
It seems like just yesterday summer started and yet, here we are at the beginning of Labor Day weekend, awash in “Back to School” sales and summer to-do lists barely fulfilled. (Were you able to make it to the beach? An outdoor movie? Did you take a hike? Or have a fun road trip?)
Photographer Meagen Yuen‘s photo of the sunlight fading in Chino Hills seemed a fitting photo for waving goodbye to summer. She took a walk through a trail with paths so muddy Yuen had to toss her flip flops at the end of the day. “I got some great shots that day, so I guess it was a good trade!” Yuen wrote in an email.
Yuen shot this photo with her Nikon d5100.
