Homeless man impaled by fence after falling off garage dies
A homeless man was killed Friday in Pomona when he fell off a garage roof and a fence post pierced his chest, authorities said.
The man was 40 to 50 years old and died after he fell onto the fence about 2:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The man was living on the roof of the garage in the 2400 block of Angela Street, said Sgt. Robert Devee of the Pomona Police Department.
He was climbing down from the garage when he “lost his balance and fell,” Devee said.
