Person of interest questioned in Inglewood shooting that left 2 dead
Inglewood police said Wednesday that they were questioning a person of interest in the fatal shooting of two women.
Three people were critically injured in the Tuesday afternoon shooting at an apartment complex in the 11700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, Inglewood police said.
The two women, identified by police as Crystallyn Nguyen, 18, and Dora Lee Dawson, 68, were taken to the hospital, where they died Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
A third victim, Datwan Henderson, 22, was in critical condition with two gunshot wounds, police said.
A fourth person was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene, Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Tony Akins said.
No children were injured in the incident, police said. Fire officials initially said one of the injured may have been a child.
The name of the person of interest taken into custody Wednesday was not released, Inglewood Police Capt. James Madia said.
