CHP officials said the pedestrian was spotted on the freeway at 3:32 a.m.
The driver in an unidentified vehicle fled the area before officers arrived, CHP Officer Monica Posada said.
Because information is limited, CHP officials are asking for help with details about the incident and vehicle involved.
Anyone with information is urged to call the CHP’s Baldwin Park station at (626) 338-1164.
