County worker accused of lewd acts on children due in court
A longtime Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation worker is scheduled to appear in court Friday on charges he committed lewd acts on children.
Donald Lee Johnson, 62, was arrested Wednesday by sheriff’s deputies. Authorities said county employees alerted them that Johnson was committing acts on children under 15 at Ted Watkins Memorial Park in South L.A.
Johnson is being held on $250,000 bail.
Sheriff’s officials say four alleged victims have been identified. Investigators are continuing to try to identify other potential victims or witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Richard Ruiz at (877) 710-5273.
