Two women found dead in O.C. apartment, no visible signs of trauma
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the mysterious deaths of two women in Stanton whose bodies showed no visible signs of trauma.
Sheriff’s deputies found the bodies Tuesday afternoon when they entered the women’s first-floor apartment in the 7600 block of Katella Avenue after the employer of one of the women called authorities because she hadn’t been in to work.
There were no visible signs of trauma, and the deaths could be natural, said Lt. Jeff Hallock.
But, he added, “it’s unusual to have two people deceased in the same place, so the investigation is ongoing.”
Autopsies have been scheduled and no arrests have been made. The women’s identities have not been released.
