Mother arrested after son found wandering Lynwood streets
The mother of a 2-year-old boy found wandering the streets of Lynwood was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment, authorities said Thursday night.
Asia Ramsey, 20, was taken into custody Thursday night at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Century Station, authorities said.
Her son was spotted near Imperial Highway and El Avenue by a tow truck driver, who alerted deputies, Lt. Dan Nathan said.
The child was in the middle of the street, the deparment said.
The child was taken to St. Francis Medical Center for a checkup and was found to be in good health.
Deputies then took the boy to the Century Station and later contacted Ramsey and her mother.
