Marine killed outside San Bernardino strip club identified
A 20-year-old Marine who was fatally shot outside a San Bernardino strip club Sunday has been identified.
The body of Douglas Rivas-Rauda of Twentynine Palms was found by police at 2:12 a.m. in the parking lot of Flesh Club Showgirls in the 100 block of W. Hospitality Lane, the San Bernardino County coroner’s department said in a statement. He was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
San Bernardino Police Sgt. Vicky Cervantes said Rivas-Rauda was stationed at Twentynine Palms and was at the club with several other Marines.
“There is no indication they were involved in any altercation,” she said, and the shooting remains under investigation.
