Man allegedly murdered wife behind restaurant 10 years ago
A man accused of stabbing his wife to death more than a decade ago in Arcadia is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Richard Keith Cole, now in his 70s, is accused of using a knife to kill Charlotte Cole, his wife, who was found with multiple stab wounds behind an Arcadia restaurant in September 2001.
Cole pleaded not guilty in November 2012 to one felony count of murder, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. He is expected to enter a new plea after a judge determined there was enough evidence to go to trial.
