Man found stabbed to death in cemetery in San Bernardino
A 33-year-old man was found stabbed to death in a San Bernardino cemetery, authorities said Thursday afternoon.
Moises Castrejon Jr. was lying in the grass at Pioneer Memorial Cemetery and had been stabbed multiple times, the San Bernardino Police Department said.
Officers found the victim around 9:30 a.m. Thursday after responding to a report of a man down.
Investigators believe that Castrejon slept in the cemetery because he was homeless, according to police.
The cemetery is more than 150 years old and holds the remains of a number of early settlers, according to the city officials.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Det. Marco Granado at (909) 953-4675.
