Man killed on 101 Freeway after falling out of ‘party bus’
A 24-year-old man was killed after he fell out of a so-called party bus on the 101 Freeway early Sunday morning, officials said.
The man was a passenger on a 2001 Ford F550 party bus that was traveling southbound just north of Universal Studios Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol. About 23 people were on the bus.
“For reasons yet to be determined, the passenger was ejected from the party limo bus” shortly after midnight, according to a CHP report.
The man landed in the freeway and was struck by multiple vehicles. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene at 12:25 a.m.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
