Man is fatally shot in Santa Clarita; sheriff’s detectives investigating
Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man Thursday afternoon in Santa Clarita.
The man was fatally shot about 12:30 p.m. in the 20900 block of Costa Brava, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No suspect has been taken into custody or publicly identified.
During the last 12 months, six other people have been killed in Santa Clarita, according to The Times’ Homicide Report database.
