Man fatally stabbed crashes car a block from L.A. County/USC hospital
Officials investigating a car crash that occurred about a block from Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center on Tuesday morning discovered a mysterious scene: a man stabbed behind the wheel.
The crash was reported about 11:15 a.m. at Valley Boulevard and Soto Street, LAPD officials said. A black Honda sedan smashed into a tree, uprooting it, then came to a stop, KABC reported.
LAPD traffic investigators found the driver fatally stabbed, authorities said.
Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police provided no further information about the circumstances of the death.
