A 23-year-old man accused of stabbing his grandmother to death in East Los Angeles has been charged with murder.

Armando Sepulveda was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Monday after his grandmother, 59-year-old Anna Sepulveda, was found stabbed and bloodied on her kitchen floor. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies had been sent to her home earlier in the day after she failed to show up at her daughter’s business in Alhambra, prosecutors said.

Armando Sepulveda was living with his grandmother at the home in the 100 block of North Gage Avenue at the time of the stabbing.
