Four dead in Lancaster car wreck
Four people were killed and three were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Saturday night in Lancaster, authorities said.
The accident occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. at East Avenue G and 10th Street East, said Robert Diaz, a supervising dispatcher at the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
KCAL-Channel 9 television news showed images of the two mangled vehicles in a ditch. The station reported that the victims were in their teens or 20s, some were not wearing seatbelts, and one of the vehicles appeared to have run a stop sign.
