Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian call off divorce after near-tragedy at brothel
A Los Angeles County court on Wednesday approved a request by Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom to formally call off their divorce.
The move comes as Odom, 35, is recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after he was found unconscious last week at a Nevada brothel, the Love Ranch Vegas, where officials say he used an herbal sexual supplement and drugs.
Odom, a former member of the Lakers and Clippers and a two-time NBA champion, spent several days fighting for his life at a Las Vegas hospital. He reportedly showed signs of suffering mini-strokes. Shortly after Odom arrived at the hospital, Kardashian, his estranged wife, and several members of the reality-TV family arrived at his bedside.

Attorneys for Kardashian submitted two pages of paperwork Wednesday to Los Angeles County Superior Court. A source familiar with the situation said that the couple is seeking to rebuild their relationship and that Kardashian was with Odom every day at the Las Vegas hospital before he was airlifted this week to Los Angeles.
Kardashian originally filed for divorce in 2013, and the case lingered until this July, when both she and Odom signed papers to finalize the divorce.
Kardashian, on her website last week, thanked fans for their support of Odom.
“The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made,” she wrote.
“You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure,” she continued. “Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!”
