Police arrest 11 at Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake concert at Rose Bowl
Eleven people were arrested during Sunday’s Legends of the Summer concert at the Rose Bowl, headlined by Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake, Pasadena police said.
Three people were arrested for being drunk in public, two people each for battery, violating a city ordinance and scalping tickets, and one person each for evading police in a vehicle and domestic battery, said Pasadena police Sgt. Kate Favara.
Other than the arrests there were no other major issues at the event, she said.
The all-day concert at the Rose Bowl headlined by rapper Jay-Z and singer Justin Timberlake was expected to draw 60,000 fans. County officials braced for the crush of people by keeping Metro rail lines open late and asking concertgoers to show up hours early.
The concert series began July 17 in Toronto.
