At least one killed, others wounded in Rowland Heights shooting
At least one person was killed and and four were wounded late Thursday in a shooting in Rowland Heights, according to law enforcement and fire officials.
A man was fatally shot in a residence in the 2200 block of Batson Avenue in Rowland Heights just after 8:30 p.m., said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Trina Schrader.

A suspect is in custody, and homicide detectives are heading to the scene, she said.
There were a total of four victims in the shooting, said L.A. County Fire Department Supervising Dispatcher Michael Pittman.

He said that none of the victims were taken to a hospital.
