One man killed, two wounded in pool party shooting in Granada Hills
Los Angeles police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and two wounded at a pool party in Granada Hills on Saturday night.
Gunfire broke out about 9 p.m. in the 12400 block of Longacre Avenue, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Witnesses told police that the party, at a house in an upscale hillside neighborhood north of the 118 Freeway, had been advertised on social media and had an admission fee. More than 100 people attended, Eisenman said.
One victim, an unidentified 30-year-old man, , was transported to a hospital, where he died, Eisenman said. His name was being withheld pending notification of family.
Two other men, described as being in their 30s, were driven by private parties to hospitals where they were treated for gunshot wounds.. Police said both were in stable condition.
Police have have not disclosed a possible motive or any information about a suspect.
