Fatal motorcycle accident snarls traffic on eastbound 105 Freeway
A fatal motorcycle accident has snarled rush-hour traffic on the eastbound 105 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said Monday evening.
The accident was reported about 5:30 p.m. near Long Beach Boulevard in the Lynwood area. Only the right lane was open on the busy east-west artery, the CHP said.
The agency declared a SigAlert.
It was unclear how long the lanes would remain closed. There were no immediate details on the fatality.
