Bill Clinton to deliver Loyola Marymount commencement speech
Bill Clinton will be in town this weekend but, at least on Saturday morning, he won’t be doing any campaigning.
Instead, the former president is scheduled to speak at Loyola Marymount University’s undergraduate commencement. The ceremony will take place on the school’s Westside campus at 9:30 a.m. Nearly 1,400 students, including Clinton’s nephew, are scheduled to graduate.
Clinton attended another Jesuit school, Georgetown University, as an undergraduate and has delivered graduation speeches at Harvard University and the University of Michigan.
Last month, he visited Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and campaigned for his wife, Hillary Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination.
