Monsters next door? Chris Brown’s neighbors criticize graffiti art

Singer Chris Brown has been cited and ordered to remove large monster-like graffiti on the walls of his Hollywood Hills home or face a fine.

Brown’s neighbors complained after the large graffiti appeared outside his house. They also said he has disturbed them with crazy parties, entourages and fast driving.

“It’s kind of putting my neighborhood up in arms,” said Patti Negri, the president of a civic association that represents 1,200 homes in the area.

“Children are frightened. Adults are mad,” Negri said.

City Councilman Tom LaBonge told CBS2 that Brown has been cited for “unpermitted and excessive signage.”

“He has a beautiful home that he lives in, but that type of image is not what is allowed by code,” he said.

The singer will be fined if the mural is not removed.
