Charles Manson to wed? He says no
A 25-year-old woman who has been loyally visiting Charles Manson -- the nation’s most notorious convicted killer who has a swastika carved into his forehead -- in prison, said recently that they are going to wed.
“I’ll tell you straight up, Charlie and I are going to get married,” said Star, the name Manson gave the woman after she started visiting him in California’s Corcoran State Prison when she was 19.
“When that will be, we don’t know. But I take it very seriously. Charlie is my husband. Charlie told me to tell you this. We haven’t told anybody about that,” Star told Rolling Stone.

The only problem in the wedding equation seems to be Manson.
“Oh that,” Manson said to Rolling Stone. “That’s a bunch of garbage. You know that, man. That’s trash. We’re just playing that for public consumption.”
Manson is in Corcoran serving a life sentence for his part in the Tate-LaBianca killings in 1969.
In a new profile for Rolling Stone by Erik Hedegaard, titled “Charles Manson Today: The Final Confessions of a Psychopath,” the writer delves into the prison-bound life of 79-year-old Manson.
“He’s an old man with a nice head of gray hair but bad hearing, bad lungs, and chipped-and-fractured, prison-dispensed bad dentures. He walks with a cane and lifts it now, in greeting to his visitors, one of whom is a slender, dark-haired woman he calls Star,” Hedegaard writes.
“Star!” he says. “She’s not a woman. She’s a star in the Milky Way!”
