Castaic father of 2 accused of killing his 26-year-old wife
A Castaic man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his 26-year-old wife, authorities said Monday.
Robert Danielson was arrested Saturday, hours after Nicole Danielson was found dead at their home in the 36000 block of Paradise Ranch Road, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez said.
Investigators with the coroner’s office concluded that Nicole Danielson, also known as Nicole Medina, died of blunt-force trauma to her head, according to the sheriff’s department.
Robert Danielson had agreed to be interviewed by detectives and was booked on a felony murder charge about 1 a.m. Sunday, according to jail records. He’s being held on $1-million bail and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
The couple’s two children, a 1-year-old and 3-year-old, are being cared for by family members, Navarro-Suarez said.
