Carson man killed after returning home with groceries
A Carson man was shot and killed late Thursday night after returning home with groceries, authorities said.
The man had returned home in the 300 block of West 220th Street at about 11:30 p.m. and parked in a common parking area, where he was shot multiple times, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
“The victim ran into his residence where he collapsed and died from his injuries,” the Sheriff’s Department said.
The man’s identity was not immediately released. An investigation was ongoing Friday, the Sheriff’s Department said.
