Man’s body found floating near shore in El Segundo
The body of a man was found Sunday evening near the shore in El Segundo, authorities said.
The body was found just after 4 p.m. floating inside the surf line north of lifeguard tower 45, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s Lifeguard Division. The area is just north of Manhattan Beach.

The man has not been identified.
The El Segundo Police Department is investigating the man’s death. Authorities have not received any missing persons reports in the surrounding area, lifeguards said.
