Man falls from Hollywood Palladium balcony at Blink 182 concert
A man was injured Thursday night when he fell from a second-story VIP balcony at the Hollywood Palladium during a Blink 182 concert.
The incident happened during the show’s encore, according to NBC4. Witnesses told reporters that the man fell face-first into the ground and was put into an ambulance by paramedics.
“All of a sudden, this big body comes over the balcony and just -- splat -- face down,” witness Cassie Piasecki told NBC4. “I didn’t hear anybody scream. He didn’t land on anybody.”
Piasecki said the man was turned onto his back and appeared to be moving and talking before he was taken to the hospital.
A report on the man’s condition was not immediately available.
