Actor Nick Stahl arrested with meth in Hollywood motel, LAPD says
Actor Nick Stahl, best known for his role in “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines,” was arrested Friday morning inside a Hollywood motel on suspicion of using methamphetamines, police said.
Three other suspects were with him and also were arrested.
Stahl was taken into custody at 5:10 a.m. after a parole compliance team checking on parolees at the motel discovered four people with the drugs, LAPD officer Bruce Borihanh said.
Stahl was in the hotel room at Wilcox Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard when the compliance check was being made, police said. He and the other three suspects were booked at the nearby LAPD Hollywood station.
Stahl, who has publicly battled drug issues for several years, was previously detained by the LAPD on a mental health hold last month. In December 2012, he was arrested on suspicion of lewd conduct at a Hollywood adult movie shop. Last year, Stahl was out of sight for weeks after his family reported him missing on skid row. He eventually re-emerged in public.
