7 hurt when SUV rolls over on 405 Freeway near Granada Hills
Seven people, including two children, were injured Monday when a Ford Explorer rolled over on the northbound 405 Freeway near San Fernando Mission Boulevard, officials said.
All traffic on the northbound lanes was stopped about 6:25 p.m. after the accident was reported, the California Highway Patrol said.
Four of the victims were transported in serious condition to area hospitals, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The patients were a 1-year-old boy, a 6-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, a department spokesman said. Three others declined to be transported to hospitals.
The CHP said the vehicle had overturned but was upright again.
