The Los Angeles County coroner has identified two victims of a fatal hit-and-run crash in South Gate on Saturday afternoon.
Angie Ruiz, 15, and Lester Larios, 55, both of Bell, died at the scene of the crash, said Capt. John Cades of the coroner’s investigation unit. Five other people were injured in the two-car crash.
The deceased’s vehicle was rammed by another vehicle whose driver remains at large, authorities said.
South Gate police are searching for Bryan Rojas, 22, in connection with the crash, said Sgt. Dave Scott.
Rojas is a 5-foot, 10-inch tall man of Latino descent who weighs about 180 pounds, Scott said. He has black hair, a beard and a forehead wound from the crash.
