Earthquake: 3.5 quake strikes near Ridgemark, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported Thursday morning 19 miles from Ridgemark, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:41 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 20 miles from Los Banos, 22 miles from Hollister and 30 miles from Soledad.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
