Valentine Jimenez was the individual winner, finishing the 3.05-mile course at Griffith Park in 17:37, to lead Garfield (4-1, 3-0). Camilo Oropeza placed second in 17:41 and Robert Hernandez placed third in 17:52 for Garfield.
Girls
Garfield 15, Bell 49
Caria Castro finished first in 21:48 to lead Garfield (3-2, 2-1) at Griffith Park. Valerie Ponce placed second in 22:29 and Alejandra Parra placed third in 23:00 for Garfield.
SUNSET SIX LEAGUE
Boys
Sun Valley Poly 16, Canoga Park 47, Grant 75
Bryan Mendoza finished first in 17:22, Francisco Flores finished second in 17:24 and Michael Pinto took third in 17:51 to lead Sun Valley Poly over the three-mile course at Pierce College.
Girls
Sun Valley Poly 16, Canoga Park 48, Grant 73
Evelyn Molina finished first in 22:53, Virginia Paiz finished second in 23:05 and Banesa Silva placed third in 23:19 to lead Snu Valley Poly over the three-mile course at Pierce College.

Boys
Birmingham 16, Chatsworth 47
Mehdi Taieb-Brahim of Birmingham (7-0, 3-0) was the individual winner in 15:53 over the three-mile course at Pierce College. Chatsworth is 2-1, 1-1.
Granada Hills 19, Cleveland 36
Angel Benitos (17:30), Chris Sperling (18:55) and Adam Chase (19:04) placed first, second and third for Granada Hills (2-2) over the three-mile course at Pierce College.
El Camino Real 24, Taft 31

Sarah Roth of El Camino Real (3-1, 2-1) was the individual winner in 20:10 over the three-mile course at Pierce College.Taft is 2-2 and 1-2.
Granada Hills 19, Cleveland 44
Rachel Dulaney of Granada Hills was the top finisher with a time of 21:38 over the three-mile course at Pierce College. Anna Dvorak of Cleveland finished second in 22:70.
