Lamar Odom was texting and “speaking sentences” over the weekend -- but that apparently doesn’t mean Khloe Kardashian will be leaving his side any time soon.

Kardashian, who’s been making medical decisions for her estranged husband, apparently intends to stick with Odom through upcoming months of rehab, sources told TMZ on Monday.

The info on Odom’s weekend status comes courtesy of a source close to the former Lakers and Clippers player who spoke to the Los Angeles Times on Saturday. Odom, who was found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel and rushed to a hospital Tuesday after ingesting a mix of cocaine, alcohol and herbal sexual stimulants, is facing physical therapy, speech therapy and more, TMZ reported.

The 35-year-old regained consciousness Friday after four days in a coma.

According to E! News on Monday, Odom is on dialysis, can move his arms and legs and isn’t using an oxygen mask anymore, but even with help can’t stand up. His CT scan was good, but he might face cognitive issues, the site said without describing the source of its information. “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” airs on the E! network.

Now, nobody seems to be saying much about whether 31-year-old Khloe’s devotion to Lamar will have any effect on their pending divorce, but People reported Monday that her current beau James Harden was “being as supportive as humanly possible given the situation.”

The mag’s source said the Houston Rockets player, who’s been dating Kardashian since midsummer, understood that “Lamar essentially has zero consistent family other than the Kardashians” and didn’t want to stress his girlfriend further.

Odom, who’s 6-foot-10 -- may be moving soon, possibly this week, to a rehab facility in Los Angeles, Us Weekly reported Monday. The mag’s source said Khloe Kardashian and her mom Kris Jenner had made the decision, so they could be closer to him as he recovers.

Though the Kardashian family has for the most part been taking a break from social media during the crisis, Kim posted an optimistic note to Instagram on Sunday, referring to a hospital visit from her and half-sister Kendall Jenner.

“I have faith in you,” Kim wrote, posting a picture of herself and Odom dancing at a formal event. “I believe in the power of prayer and positive energy! Thank you all for your prayers! Lammy- I’m so happy Kendall & I could make you smile today! God is good!”

Khloe and Lamar, who married in 2009 after dating for only a month, have been hard to split up, with Odom’s erratic behavior -- he was seen on video rapping about how he cheated on her while she was out of town -- finally pushing Kardashian to file for divorce in December 2013.

The process was notoriously dragged out over nearly two years and nearly thrown out of court twice because of inactivity on both sides before both signed the papers in July. A friend of Odom’s told People in June, “It’s no secret Lamar regrets a lot of things. He’d still love to be married to Khloe. And there’s a part of her that wishes it worked out, too.”

Due to a backlog in family court, the divorce hasn’t been signed off on by a judge, so Kardashian remains Odom’s next of kin for at least a couple of months. TMZ said friends and family are hearing that rehabilitation will take months and that some of the damage done will be permanent.

During the repeat episode of “KUWTK” that aired two days before Odom’s emergency, Kardashian said in an interview, “I love Lamar and care about him a lot. It makes me feel good to hear his voice and know that he’s OK.”

“I love my wife. She’ll always be my wife, no matter what,” Odom told Us Weekly in February 2014. “Who knows? We don’t know exactly if [the divorce is going through]. Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife.”
