Ryan Menezes worked on the Los Angeles Times Data and Graphics team. A graduate of UCLA with a degree in statistics, he analyzed data, wrote stories, crafted visualizations and tackled various journalistic problems with the help of code. He left The Times in 2021.
Joe Fox is a former graphics and data journalist at the Los Angeles Times; he left in 2018. Previously, he worked at the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner in Fairbanks, Alaska. His interests include tacos, baseball, computer-generated art and Twitter bots. Fox is a Cleveland native and attended Ohio University.
Eben McCue created animated content for the Los Angeles Times. McCue, a motion graphics artist, previously worked in Vancouver on a television series. A growing interest in infographics drew him to The Times, where he explored the potential of animated journalism. McCue graduated from Massachusetts College of Art in 2013 with a BFA in animation; he left The Times in February 2017.
