Naked vegan cooking? Yep
Ever feel the need to take off your top while forming a soyrizo loaf? Are you the kind of person who likes to take off their pants and get comfortable before baking a dairy-free cake? Do you prefer to eat your veggie lasagna without socks on? Then nude vegan cooking is for you.
Three students named Greta, Jess and Luke from the United Kingdom have started the blog NakedVeganCooking.com (warning: It’s not safe for work). It’s exactly what it sounds like. According to the blog, “We like to cook naked, for ourselves, our friends and lovers out of our huge, messy shared house in Manchester. And then we post the recipes and photos online for you to share.”
The three naked musketeers also encourage others to submit naked photos of themselves to post on the blog. The endless posts for baba ghanouj, greens on toast, green curry and naked bodies with or without aprons are meant to encourage “tasty food and positive body image.”
Some of the blog’s recipes include broad-bean pod fritters, sweetcorn fritters and falafel. Actually, there are quite a few recipes for fried items. Is it just me or is there something a little unsanitary -- not to mention dangerous -- about cooking naked? There are just too many things that can go wrong when you fry vegetables with no pants on.
Hey, is that a grease burn or a birth mark down there? Ouch.
