The Melt has 10,000 free sandwiches for National Grilled Cheese Day
National Grilled Cheese day is just around the corner, and to celebrate, The Melt restaurant is giving away 10,000 grilled cheese sandwiches.
We’re picturing mountains of grilled bread and hot, melty cheese being tossed to hungry mobs of people wearing napkin bibs holding Thermoses of tomato soup.
In actuality, it should be a little more civil. The San Francisco-based grilled-cheese-centric chain is giving the first 10,000 people who sign up at eatcheese.com a code to receive a free melt. You must sign up by April 12, National Grilled Cheese Day.
Scan your code at any The Melt location between April 12 and April 21, after 1 p.m., to receive your free melt, valued at up to $6.75. Some of the available melts include the Italian Job made with fontina and provolone on house-made garlic bread; the Mission with pepperjack on sourdough; and the Classic with aged cheddar on white bread.
