Cafecito Organico introduces coffee workshops
Cafecito Organico is offering coffee tasting classes once a month at three of the local roaster’s cafes -- in East Hollywood, Malibu and Costa Mesa. Classes will focus on learning to appreciate the differences between five coffees from several regions of Guatemala, as well as tasting the distinctions between two manual brewing methods, using the Clever Dripper and the Steel Coffee Dripper. The classes, for 6 to 10 people, will be offered by one of each coffee shop’s barristas.
The class schedule is as follows:
Malibu (29169 Heathercliff Road, Point Dume)
Date/time: Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m.
Price: $10, includes 1 bag of coffee
What: 1-hour comparative tasting class (maximum 10 people)
Costa Mesa (2930 Bristol St., Costa Mesa)
Date/time: Thursday, Sept. 20, at 6 p.m.
Price: $10, includes 1 bag of coffee
What: 1-hour comparative tasting class (maximum 6 people)
East Hollywood (710 N. Heliotrope Drive, Los Angeles)
Date/Time: Friday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m.
Price: $10, includes 1 bag of coffee
What: 1-hour comparative tasting class (maximum 6 people)
