There’s a Viagra ice cream, and it’s blue
Ice cream is pleasurable enough on its own, but your favorite flavor may seem boring compared to the Viagra ice cream created by U.K.-based food inventor Charlie Harry Francis.
The award-winning inventor and owner of the company Lick Me I’m Delicious -- remember that glow-in-the-dark ice cream? -- has turned that little blue pill into an ice cream for a one-time creation he’s made for a celebrity client.
He’s calling the Viagra ice cream Arousal. And of course, it’s blue to match the color of the pill. He laced the sweet treat with the popular drug, normally prescribed for erectile dysfunction.
“Each ball of ice cream is a 25 mg dose, which is the recommended starting dose of Viagra,” said Francis in an email interview. “So eat that and it will take effect.”
The Viagra was provided by the client, and Francis estimates the cost to be about $33 a scoop.
“They’ve made us sign a confidentiality agreement, so we can’t say much about it, but I am allowed to say that they were very happy with the end result,” Francis said on his blog.
So what does Viagra ice cream taste like? Francis flavored his creation with bubbly Champagne.
If you’re looking to get your hands on a scoop of Viagra ice cream in the U.S., you can always hope Francis is hired for the the next celebrity party you crash.
