Ramen Burger will return to L.A. this month
If you’re one of the many people who waited in line when the Ramen Burger first came to L.A. last month, only to leave empty-handed, here’s your second chance for a bite. The Ramen Burger is slated to return to Southern California at the 17th Japanese America Kite Festival in Seal Beach.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, beginning at 11 a.m., Ramen Burger creator Keizo Shimamoto and his team will cook up to 500 burgers. Judging by Shimamoto’s last two L.A. appearances, we’re guessing he’ll run out of burgers in a couple of hours at the festival.

The Japan America Kite Festival is a one-day kiting event. Organizers anticipate more than 12,000 visitors, so if you’re hoping to finally get your hands on the meat and ramen bun burger, you’ll want to line up early.
Admission to the festival is free. The Ramen Burgers will be sold for $8 or $10 if you’d like to wash it down with an iced green tea. Ramen Burger T-shirts ($20) and stickers ($2) will also be available for purchase.
