“Wahlburgers,” the reality TV show starring Wahlberg brothers Mark (the actor), Donnie (the less-famous actor) and Paul (the chef) premieres on the A&E channel Jan. 22. If you’re wondering whether or not people are interested in watching a show about two actors kind of running a burger joint, tickets to the show’s premiere sold out in an hour.

The Wahlbergs decided to host an event to promote the show and raise money for the Dorchester Youth Collaborative, a charity that serves low-income urban youth.

One hundred tickets were sold for the event, which will take place at Hingham Harbor, Mass. The ticket sales raised $2,500 for the organization.

The night’s festivities will include an appearance from Wahlberg matriarch Alma, food and drinks, and a viewing of the first episode.

The show chronicles the day-to-day operations of the Wahlberg family-owned restaurant Wahlburgers in Boston. Some celebrity-owned restaurants downplay the celebrity aspect. Wahlburgers seems to flaunt it with pictures of Mark and Donnie on the website and links to trailers for the actors’ movies.

The menu at Wahlburgers includes burgers, salads, mac and cheese, fries and tater tots. Paul runs the kitchen, and will be prominently featured in the show, but brothers Mark and Donnie will also make regular appearances.

The show will air Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. on A&E.
