The new One Santa Fe building in the downtown Arts District is about to get its own grocery store. Grow, a family-owned store and deli, is opening Oct. 24, just a few doors down from Cafe Gratitude.

The 5,300-square-foot market will carry sustainably raised meats and seafood, produce and dairy. You’ll also be able to stop in for a made-to-order deli sandwich and salad. There’s an area of bulk food bins, bread, craft beer and wine, cold-pressed juice and fresh flowers.

And if you can’t make it to the store, Grow has partnered with Instacart to offer grocery delivery to neighboring communities.

The first and only other location of Grow opened in the South Bay area in 2006. But the owners, Manhattan Beach residents Barry and Kathy Fisher, say their market really started as a cherry stand in their front yard in 2006, run by their son.

Grow in downtown Los Angeles will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

300 S. Santa Fe Ave., Los Angeles, (213) 346-9488, www.growdelivers.com/dtla.
