Burger King employee hides pot in kid’s meal, family finds it
The parents of a 4-year-old child in Dundee, Mich., were surprised to find a pipe packed full of pot in their kid’s Burger King meal Wednesday night.
According to Dundee Police Chief Dave Uhl, a 23-year-old employee admitted to trying to hide the drugs in a Kid’s Meal box while working.
“So it ended up inside a 4-year-old’s Kids Meal,” Uhl told Monroe News. “I couldn’t believe it.”
The kid’s grandfather bought the meal at a Burger King near a hotel where the family was staying. On his walk back to the hotel, he noticed a Burger King employee running to a car with two men inside.
After the pot was found, the grandfather described the employee and the two men to police. The employee, the police say, was the pot stasher. Police found him, and were able to find his two friends, after they called the employee to warn him about the police, and the police answered.
The police found the two men across the street in a McDonald’s parking lot with hashish and drug paraphernalia in the car.
