Amazon Prime Now delivers Umami burgers, Sprinkles cupcakes and 99 Ranch Market groceries
The next time you get a craving for an Umami burger, truffle fries and a Sprinkles vanilla cupcake, just have them delivered.
Amazon Prime Now, Amazon.com’s one-hour delivery service for Amazon Prime members (requires $99 annual fee), is now delivering items from Los Angeles restaurants, including Umami Burger, Baby Blues BBQ, Feast from the East and more.
The service is available for Prime members who use the Prime Now smartphone app. The app will tell you which restaurants are available, then let you track the status of your delivery and watch your delivery driver en route.
According to a release for the new restaurant-delivery service, Amazon promises to have your food to your door in an hour or less.
You also can order products from grocery stores such as Sprouts Market, Bristol Farms, Erewhon and 99 Ranch Market, depending on your ZIP code.
The delivery service is available in select Los Angeles ZIP codes and will be expanding. Restaurant delivery is free for a limited time.
