Attend Teen Vogue’s Fashion University with Nicole Richie
Ever wondered what it takes to make it in the fashion industry? On Oct. 19-21, 525 young women will gather at the Hudson Theater in New York City to hear from top designers, editors and entrepreneurs. These fashionistas, who aspire to work in the fashion industry themselves one day, will take part in the annual three-day Teen Vogue Fashion University for some “Fashion 101” classes.
If you can’t make it to NYC for the event, don’t sweat it. Teen Vogue is offering a webinar of the sold-out event online. The webinar will showcase six of the top seminars from each day, including a keynote address by Vogue’s Grace Coddington and a seminar led by Nicole Richie.
You can download the webinar for $24.95 if purchased before Oct. 13 or $34.95 thereafter. To get your copy, visit https://fora.tv/conference/teen_vogue_fashion_unifersity_2012.
In addition to Nicole Richie and Grace Coddington, this year’s curriculum includes designer Olivier Theyskens, with a lecture called “The Modern Marvel” (discussing the challenges and benefits of working with a variety of brands); Amy Astley and the Teen Vogue editors, discussing what it takes to produce a top fashion magazine; designer Phillip Lim talking about his day-to-day work and how he became such a success; Rachel Roy, Peter Som, Christian Siriano and more.
A full list of this year’s instructors can be found at teenvoguefashionuniversity.com.
