Fiesta Fridays kicking up again at Mariachi Plaza
Music and food. What else do you need? The third Friday of every month, just outside the Mariachi Plaza stop on MTA’s Gold Line station, there will be a street fair including the regular Boyle Heights farmers market as well as a rotating cast of musical acts and artists.
Called Fiesta Fridays, it’s a project by Moonbridge Productions, which has just opened the MoonPad, a hostel on the square designed for “international artists, travelers and backpackers visiting L.A.”
The events run from 5 to 10 p.m. every third Friday of the month, at the corner of 1st Street and Boyle Avenue.
